Re the 'reduction in councillors' issue - what with the Range News running the notice of the community meeting the day after it happened and the 'wrong' insert going into the paper so late that most won't have time to respond, I was starting to think Council had it in for Maleny. But seems we're not alone - this from Helen of Kawana:

"This is totally pathetic - a number of members of AIR have rung today, saying that they have just received the B & W copy, and asking if another Information Night will be held as they do not understand the wording regarding the reduction of number of councillors.  

BIG STUFF UP by Council - I do not see how this Consultation can even be called legal.
Not your Division - this one, Dick and some of my members in Little Mountain have advised me they never received anything in their mail box.
IS JUNK MAIL a LEGAL form of delivering mail?????
Then a relative in my area tells me today, he never opens JUNK MAIL - just throws it in the garbage, so naturally he has not received any forms from anyone.
